Job summary

Greystar Oak Lake Townhomes in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role involves completing work orders, make-ready tasks, inventory management, and documentation.

Responsibilities include grounds upkeep, cost-conscious repairs, and occasional on-call shifts. EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; a flexible

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications
• Valid driver’s license for on-property golf cart operation
• willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays
• OSHA safety training compliance

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and quality standards
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant homes, including inspections and punch lists
• Track inventory, tools, and materials; coordinate with maintenance supervisor on reorders
• Document service requests accurately and timely for record-keeping
• Maintain grounds and common areas including cleaning, painting, and debris removal
• Assist in controlling costs by repairing rather than replacing when feasible
