Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our nonprofit residential community in Northern California. This on-site role maintains the property's safety and appearance and responds to resident needs with professionalism.

Responsibilities include routine repairs, appliance repair, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and apartment turns; HVAC oversight with possible certification sponsorship; pool upkeep; and on-site on-call participation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of proven property maintenance experience (multifamily).
• Strong knowledge of appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is a plus.
• Positive, professional customer service attitude.
• Ability to work weekends or holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete routine and minor maintenance repairs.
• Perform appliance repair, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Assist with apartment turns, including repairs, cleaning, and preparation for new residents.
• Help oversee and maintain HVAC systems; certification may be offered after evaluation.
• Maintain swimming pools and related equipment; certification may be sponsored after evaluation.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris.
• Participate in a voluntary on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
