Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in maintenance and make-ready tasks across the community. The role involves routine, corrective, preventive, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, with focus on keeping common areas clean and safe.

You will be on-site, perform resident/management requests, inspect for hazards, and participate in on-call emergencies while upholding safety and property standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the maintenance processes including corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Maintain the make-ready process consistent with the property's objectives under supervision.
• Perform community maintenance and ensure regular/daily onsite attendance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Support in maintaining a preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community.
• Participate in on-call emergency at the community and assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
