Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes across the property, including corrective, preventative, routine and cosmetic tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The role covers daily on-site maintenance, housekeeping of common areas, responding to work orders, and supporting a positive resident experience while ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance tasks including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic work.
• Perform on-site maintenance and make-ready tasks under supervision.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders promptly.
• Keep common areas clean and safe; inspect grounds daily.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and follow safety guidelines.
• Participate in on-call emergencies.
• Provide excellent customer and resident relations.
• Assist in enforcing community policies.
