Job summary

Packsize International is seeking a Resident Service Engineer to install, configure and service Packsize equipment at customer sites in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires diagnosing complex mechanical issues, performing start-up testing and delivering technical training to customers.

The candidate will build strong customer relationships, work with R&D and Quality teams, and adhere to safety protocols. Travel to customer facilities and occasional overnight trips may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Training or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer job sites and coordinate with customers.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Analyze customer KPIs to identify machine performance issues and maintenance needs.
• Install Packsize solutions and train customers to use and maintain them.
