Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Resident Service Engineer to install, configure, and maintain equipment onsite at customer facilities in Reno, NV. You will train customers on product capabilities and perform start-up testing while building trusted relationships with clients.

The role requires troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Software and Quality teams, and a commitment to safety in a production environment. Travel and on-call support may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and tools.
• Familiarity with Windows platforms and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment on customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and docs.
• Train customers on product capabilities and maintenance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software and QA teams on issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Analyze KPI data to identify machine performance issues.
• Prepare technical reports and travel arrangements.
• Communicate clearly with customers and Packsize personnel.
• Adhere to safety requirements and protocols.
