Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team.

You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete preparation, and connect clients with Intuit’s broader services, both in person and virtually, at a local TurboTax location. You’ll help grow the local client base, build long-term relationships, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience with a focus on financial outcomes and community impact.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 1040 tax returns using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite, 20 hours per week, with hours potentially increasing during tax season.
• Willingness to complete training and development as determined by the business, including compliance and cross-training.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising materials.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professional service and effective client communication.
