Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to deliver full-service tax preparation and advisory services at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will work on-site with colleagues to assist both in-person and virtual clients, guiding them through personal and business tax needs and driving local growth. You will play a pivotal role as a local ambassador, offering tax expertise, pursuing community outreach, and connecting clients with broader Intuit services such as

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Embod a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. Identify and pursue prospects through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referral networks, and partnerships. Organize local events to create opportunities for engagement.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: Develop understanding of clients' complete financial picture and connect with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships: Connect with people and build long-term trust to turn transactions into multi-year relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: Create an exceptional customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals using in-person and video tools.
• Additional responsibilities: align with local and online marketing efforts to grow presence and client base.
