Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to deliver comprehensive tax guidance and full preparation services at on-site TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will engage clients in person and virtually, connect them with the broader Intuit ecosystem, and help grow the local business while delivering a trusted, end-to-end customer experience. The role emphasizes community presence, cross-service referrals, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax-related content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador and own your market by outreach and events to grow the local client base.
• Act as a trusted guide by connecting clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in person and via Intuit video tools.
