Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem. You will engage with the local community, grow the client base, and deliver an end-to-end experience in collaboration with a team of tax professionals.

The role emphasizes onsite work at TurboTax locations, strong tax knowledge, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to drive loyalty and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office for at least 20 hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Willingness to complete training and wear uniforms; may be featured in marketing materials.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow TurboTax’s client base within the local community through outreach and events.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build long-term relationships to convert one-time transactions into ongoing engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
