Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete tax returns, and extend services across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning within the local community.

This role emphasizes ongoing client relationships and a strong customer-first approach. You will collaborate with a team of tax professionals, using Intuit tools to deliver end-to-end services.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete required training and development; uniforms provided; may be featured for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; content creation as per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Lead discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Use government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Grow local client base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships; be the local face of TurboTax.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) for year-round support.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience via in-person and video tools, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
