Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized advisory within a local TurboTax location. You will work with clients in person or virtually, guiding them through straightforward to complex tax scenarios and connecting them with Intuit's broader services.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Bridge client needs with the Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and facilitate tax planning conversations.
