Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location. You will serve in-person and virtual clients, grow the local client base, and coordinate with Intuit specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions.

You’ll build lasting client relationships, participate in community outreach, and use Intuit tools to deliver personalized financial guidance year-round.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfort working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday.
• Willing to complete required training and development, including compliance and cross-training.
• Willing to wear company uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow TurboTax client base and drive referrals.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and trust with customers.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
