Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee all leasing and marketing activities for assigned properties. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to set leasing goals and develop strategic marketing plans to hit occupancy targets.

The role requires leading a leasing team, delivering excellent resident relations, and ensuring lease file accuracy and policy compliance. A strong emphasis on retention programs and market awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing and marketing at the property; work with Community Manager to set leasing goals and develop marketing plans.
• Lead the leasing team to achieve effective leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations.
• Audit lease files to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs (events, promotions, newsletter).
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; monitor traffic and occupancy.
• Assist in developing annual marketing plan and budget; execute marketing campaigns.
• Supervise staff through training, coaching, and performance management; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain property appearance and coordinate maintenance responses; conduct regular inspections.
