Job summary

UNC Health, through Pardee - HCHC (Pardee UNC Health Care), is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to strengthen people capabilities across the organization. This onsite, full-time role within Human Resources focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that improve employee skills and organizational performance.

You will assess learning needs, build and deliver training programs, and use feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (HR, education, business, or psychology).
• Proven experience in training, HR, or Learning & Development.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review training needs and design new or improved training programs.
• Evaluate instructor performance and measure program effectiveness; provide recommendations.
• Plan, develop, and deliver training and staff development programs using varied methods.
• Prepare and manage the training budget for the department or organization.
• Consult with management to identify training needs based on processes and changes.
• Create and organize training manuals, multimedia materials, and learning aids.
• Develop testing and evaluation procedures to support program measurement.
• Train instructors and supervisors in delivery techniques and engagement.
• Conduct orientation sessions and on-the-job training for new hires.
• Coordinate ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff.
• Review training programs to ensure compliance with government standards.
• Coordinate courses with community schools and designate training procedures.
