Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to manage on-site planning for weddings and coordinate with client experience managers and on-site coordinators. Training is provided; you can pick your own schedule for the 2026 season and beyond.

The role requires at least 2 years of wedding or event planning experience, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail. Weekend work is essential, and candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approx. 6 weeks prior to the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding, ensuring all participants are confident in timing and cues
• Serve as the primary onsite advocate for the couple, maintaining a calm, solutions-focused presence
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design and playbook
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival through final breakdown
• Greet, direct, and be the main contact for all vendors
• Convey setup instructions to vendors to align with the event plan
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor elements
• Support wedding party and family with timing cues and day-of needs
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for
• Proactively manage last-minute changes to maintain guest experience
• Ability to work weekends is essential
