Leigh & Co. Events is a fast-growing wedding planning company offering wedding design, coordination and planning services for engaged couples. The Lead Wedding Coordinator is a contract role with flexible scheduling for the 2026 season and beyond, with training provided.

This onsite lead planner will work with client experience managers during the planning and execution, lead the ceremony rehearsal, coordinate vendors, and manage the day‑of timeline from setup through breakdown.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.

Aufgaben

• Attend a final details call with clients 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite, maintaining calm and solutions-focused.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design and playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival through final breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and act as the main contact for all vendors.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors and décor.
• Support the wedding party and family with timing cues and day-of needs.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage last-minute changes to maintain a smooth guest experience.
