Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator for the 2026 season and beyond. This contract role involves onsite leadership, coordinating weddings, and collaborating with client experience managers and coordinators.

Training is provided, with pay of $400 per project for 10–12 hours, and weekend work is essential for availability. You will lead client-focused planning, oversee day-of execution, and ensure each wedding runs smoothly from vendor arrivals to breakdown, while maintaining

Qualifications

2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
Strong communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Reliable transportation.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the wedding day from vendor arrival to breakdown.
Oversee ceremony and reception setup per design and playbook.
Direct and coordinate the day‑of schedule with clients, vendors and staff.
Greet and be the main point of contact for all vendors on site.
Communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with plans.
Assist with placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers and décor.
Support the wedding party and family with timing cues and needs.
Ensure all end‑of‑event items are packed and accounted for.
Proactively handle issues or last‑minute changes to maintain a smooth guest experience.
Weekend availability is essential.
