Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator for the 2026 season and beyond. This contract role offers a flexible schedule and on-site wedding planning, design, and coordination services for engaged couples.

Training is provided and pay is per project ($400 for 10–12 hours) with weekend work required. You will serve as lead planner, working with client experience managers and on-site coordinators to execute weddings, greet vendors, manage day-of operations, and ensure a seamless

• 2 years experience as wedding or event planner.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend final details call with clients 4–6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline and expectations.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring timing and cues.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite and provide calm, solutions-focused support.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in line with design and playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and be the main contact for all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors to align with the plan.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book and décor.
• Support wedding party and family with guidance and timing cues.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage any issues or last-minute changes for a smooth guest experience.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.
• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
