Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to join our fast-growing wedding planning team. This contract role offers flexible scheduling and training is provided.

Pay is $400 per project, with roughly 10–12 hours per project, for the 2026 season and beyond. Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients ~4–6 weeks prior to the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding, ensuring participants are confident in timing, processional flow, and key cues.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite, maintaining a calm, solutions-focused presence and supporting them through challenges.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design and day‑of execution playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival through final breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and act as the main point of contact for all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan.
• Coordinate and assist with placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor elements.
• Support the wedding party and family with guidance, timing cues, and any day‑of needs.
• Ensure all end‑of‑event items are properly packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage and resolve last‑minute changes to maintain a smooth guest experience.
