Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator for our 2026 season and beyond. This contract role offers the opportunity to lead wedding planning onsite, working with our client experience managers and assistant coordinators to execute flawless events.

You will attend pre-wedding calls, lead rehearsals, manage vendor relations, and ensure every detail aligns with the design and day-of playbook. Weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs. or more.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients 4–6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring timing and cues.
• Serve as the primary onsite advocate for the couple, maintaining a calm, solutions-focused presence.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design and playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and be the main contact for all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
• Coordinate escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor placement.
• Support the wedding party and family with timing cues and day-of needs.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively resolve day-of changes to maintain guest experience.
