Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for an L2 Deskside Support Engineer in Princeton, NJ. This 06+ months contract role offers onsite support for front-office and trading floor users, with VIP/white-glove service expectations during market hours.

The candidate will manage Microsoft 365 tools, basic trading floor equipment, and secure endpoints while adhering to ITIL processes and stringent SLAs.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in IT Desktop Support or Trade Floor Support within Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Experience supporting portfolio managers, traders, and research teams.
• Exposure to market-sensitive, time-critical environments.
• Strong Windows desktop and endpoint support expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desk-side support for front-office users including portfolio managers, traders, researchers, and sales teams.
• Deliver desk-side support during market hours to minimize disruption to trading decisions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams for priority issue resolution.
• Support VIP/front-office users and onboarding of new joiners.
• Follow ITIL/ITSM processes with strict SLA adherence and accurate ticket logging.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows laptops; support multi-monitor setups and trading floor devices.
