You will deploy desktops and peripherals, onboard new hires, and support users with IT tools to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and relevant technical training.
• 3+ years IT support in a Windows environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
• Experience documenting work in a ticketing system.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
• Ability to train in Detroit for 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Windows 11 Support - Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for Windows 11 systems, including troubleshooting OS issues, performance optimization, and user assistance.
• Hardware & Software Deployment - Stage, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices; install and support standard business apps.
• Onboarding & Workstation Setup - Prepare and provision user workstations for new hires, including account setup and system configuration.
• New Technology Support & Adoption - Support implementation and pilot deployments of new technologies and user transitions.
• Network Support - Assist with basic network setup and troubleshooting, including VPN access and wired/wireless configurations.
• IT Recommendations & Asset Planning - Research and recommend hardware, software, and IT services to improve efficiency, performance, and security.
• User Training & Support - Deliver end-user training and guidance on technology tools and best practices.
