Job summary

Akerman, founded in 1920, is seeking an IT Technician to join its Miami office. This is an onsite position supporting local and remote users.

Responsibilities include providing onsite and remote technical assistance, configuring PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and phones; troubleshooting hardware and software; supporting Office and document management; and coordinating with vendors. EOE.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience supporting PCs, MS Office, mobile devices, AV tech, and network connectivity.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support, including VPN and Citrix assistance.
• Configure and support PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, and phones.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues; elevate as needed.
• Support Microsoft Office and document management applications.
• Provide conference room and audiovisual support for meetings and presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors on technology-related matters.
• Maintain local office technology inventory.
• Assist with technology deployments, office moves, and firm-wide functions.
