Job summary

MMD Services is partnering with a global financial markets firm to fill a Senior AV & IT Support Technician role in their Miami office. This onsite position blends senior AV expertise with hands-on IT support in a high-visibility environment.

You’ll work with senior executives and global stakeholders, owning AV standards across offices, with direct impact on meetings, events, and enterprise communications. The role offers stability, strong compensation, and clear advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong senior-level enterprise AV support experience, with exposure to Tier 3 troubleshooting and escalations.
• Strong working experience with Zoom Rooms and familiarity with Zoom administration.
• Hands-on experience with Logitech environments and working knowledge of Logitech Sync and Q-SYS.
• Solid understanding of AV signal flow and AV-over-IP concepts.
• Working experience with professional audio, DSPs, cameras, and video switching.
• Strong networking fundamentals and the ability to quickly isolate AV, platform, network, and endpoint issues.
• Hands-on experience supporting end-user technology including computers, monitors, peripherals, workstation setup, imaging, and general desktop support.
• Comfortable supporting AV escalations while also moving into broader day-to-day IT support as business needs shift.
• Experience supporting executive-facing, event-driven, or highly visible corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level support and escalation coverage for AV, conferencing, collaboration, and end-user technology issues.
• Step in as needed to support broader end-user and operations functions including computer imaging, workstation deployments, monitor setup, peripherals, hardware swaps, and general IT troubleshooting.
• Support special projects and broader end-user technology initiatives, approximately 20% of the role.
• Partner closely with AV, end-user support, infrastructure, engineering teams, vendors, integrators, and MSP resources.
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise-grade Unified Communications endpoints including Zoom Rooms and Logitech endpoints, with working knowledge of AV&C platforms such as Q-SYS.
• Troubleshoot audio/video signal flow, cameras, displays, control systems, and AV-over-IP environments, escalating highly complex issues when appropriate.
• Support audio mixer boards, DSPs, microphones, PTZ cameras, camera/video switchers, LED walls, and executive meeting spaces.
• Diagnose network-related AV issues involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, and general connectivity.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for executive meetings, events, interviews, and other high‑visibility business functions.
