Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Field Support Technician for its Plantation, FL headquarters. This full-time, onsite role provides direct hardware and software support to staff, manages the central call queue, and delivers local IT services to neighboring locations nationwide.

You will collaborate with Service Desk, Engineering and Management to ensure uptime, handle Active Directory, Okta MFA, and Microsoft 365, and document solutions for end users. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on IT support at the corporate headquarters.
• Manage national remote support and centralized ticket queue for clinics and offices.
• Travel to neighboring offices for on-site hardware deployments and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot clinical and corporate systems, including radiology/imaging and productivity apps.
• Perform basic system administration tasks and user onboarding.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.
