Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, service, and repair ATMs, POS systems, kiosks, PCs, printers, and related equipment onsite within the Camden, NJ area. You will serve as the primary contact for technical issues, ensuring uptime and quality customer service.

The role requires troubleshooting hardware, basic networking, and strong safety and security practices. You will travel across the territory, work in a field-based environment, and coordinate with dispatch to meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or coursework related to computer hardware, electronics, or technical support.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining desktops, peripherals, printers, and basic networking equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently in a field-service environment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ATMs, POS systems, kiosks, PCs, printers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose hardware issues and perform component-level replacements and repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Respond to customer service calls and own incidents through resolution.
• Assist with site prep, equipment staging, cabling, testing, and modular swaps.
• Maintain accurate service records, expense reports, and asset documentation.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships while representing the company professionally.
• Adhere to security procedures and service standards at customer sites.
• Collaborate with dispatch, call center teams, and other service personnel to maximize uptime.
• Travel throughout the territory and support during rotating shifts, on-call, weekends, and holidays.
