Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, maintain, and repair equipment across an assigned territory, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role owns customer problems through to resolution, working on low-complexity ATM/EPOS products and performing site prep, testing and component swaps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 0-1 years related experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite; Windows XP/2000 OS required
• Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support
• A+ Certification; IT in Electronics and Communications
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship skills
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude; hardware maintenance experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, on-call
• Ability to pick up new skills quickly

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair equipment in assigned territory.
• Own customer problems until resolution and SLA compliance.
• Perform work on low complexity ATM/EPOS products; minor repairs and replacements.
• Assist in site preparation and testing; modular swaps as needed.
• Respond to customer concerns; escalate to appropriate teams.
• Build relationships with customers; represent Mindlance positively.
• Perform periodic preventative maintenance; diagnose and replace modules.
• Ensure asset reporting and invoicing data accuracy.
• May travel daily; adjust schedule based on reports.
• Coordinate with Call Center and Security Escort as needed.
• EPOS maintenance or install experience required; desktop hardware experience considered
