Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ATMs, POS systems, kiosks, PCs, and printers onsite within an assigned territory, with travel across the El Paso area. You will be the primary technical contact for resolving issues and ensuring uptime.

Role requires preventive maintenance, accurate documentation, and strong customer service while meeting SLAs. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call support is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or coursework in computer hardware, electronics, or technical support.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, peripherals, printers, and basic networking.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently in field service.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ATMs, POS, kiosks, PCs, printers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose hardware issues and perform component-level repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance for optimal performance.
• Respond to service calls and own incidents through resolution.
• Assist with site prep, staging, cabling, testing, and equipment swaps.
• Maintain service records, expense reports, and asset documentation.
• Build positive customer relationships and represent the company professionally.
• Adhere to security procedures and service standards at customer sites.
• Collaborate with dispatch and call center teams to maximize uptime.
• Travel across territory and support rotating shifts, on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed.
