Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide onsite end-user support in York, NE. The role focuses on hardware/software troubleshooting, workstation deployment, asset management, and day-to-day deskside operations in a corporate office environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Deskside/Help Desk experience, strong Windows support skills, and a customer-service mindset. This contract, fully onsite position offers a pay range of $18.00–$25.00 per hour with standard

Qualifications

2+ years of Deskside, Desktop, or Help Desk support experience.
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripherals.
Experience with ticketing systems and asset management.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide hardware and software break/fix support for Windows 10/11 systems.
Perform IMAC services (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes).
Image, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops.
Support printers, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
Install approved software and applications.
Troubleshoot network, wireless, and VPN connectivity issues.
