Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Helpdesk Technician for an onsite role in White Marsh, MD. You will provide first-line IT support, create and track tickets, and resolve hardware/software issues across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT or related field, and experience with batch scripting, PowerShell, and Windows 10/Server 2012. This contract position is based in White Marsh, with rotating after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is required.
• Experience with batch scripting and PowerShell is preferred.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows Server environments is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support company-wide via phone or email.
• Create and document tickets in helpdesk systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user access issues.
• Escalate complex problems to higher-level support when needed.
• Interact with network services and other teams to restore service.
• Install and configure hardware, software and applications.
