Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide in-person hardware and software support at our Clinton, MD client site. The role requires working onsite, Monday–Friday 2p–10p, with one weekend per month.

The candidate will resolve end-user IT issues, assist with AD account management using Adaxes, and support mobile devices and Office applications. Candidates should have experience imaging PCs, configuring systems, and handling help desk tickets.

Qualifications

• Onsite Clinton, MD contract position.
• Experience imaging and configuring PCs.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting.
• End-user network troubleshooting including VPN/Wi‑Fi.
• Active Directory account management using Adaxes.
• Experience with Windows 10; Mac OS a bonus.
• Office installations and general app support (Outlook/Excel/Word).
• Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems.
• Supports Android and iOS devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person hardware and software support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user IT issues onsite.
• Assist with account creation, modification, and deletion in AD via Adaxes.
• Support mobile devices and office productivity software.
• Document and track incidents using the ticketing system.
