Job summary

NTT DATA in McKinney, TX is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite end-user support at a client site. You will own issues through resolution and perform Smart Hands support for network devices and on-site servers.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing desktops, notebooks, and printers, as well as configuring network devices such as firewalls, switches, and routers. Travel may be required and after-hours support may be needed as directed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT/Desktop Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environments.
• A+ desktop or equivalent certification is required.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
• Onsite support and basic troubleshooting for network devices and servers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, replace parts, upgrade systems, and deploy/repair desktops and notebooks, printers.
• Troubleshoot and repair network devices (firewalls, switches, routers) and manage related cabling.
• Provide on-site Smart Hands support directed by a senior NTT DATA resource.
• Respond to support calls after normal business hours as directed.
• Update and close tickets promptly to meet service level agreements.
• Escalate complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
