Job summary

NTT DATA seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support at client sites in Hackensack, NJ. Responsibilities include IMAC, break-fix, desk-side support, and strong customer service delivery.

The role requires daily on-site work at the client facility, with some travel to other locations such as Edison. Vaccination may be required, and rotating on-call/holiday coverage is possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus, browsers.
• Able to install, configure and troubleshoot workstation hardware.

Responsibilities

• Configure and repair desktop/notebook hardware and peripherals.
• Provide on-site end-user support via in person, phone, email, or video conferences.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and configurations to improve performance.
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems using advanced tools.
• Perform break/fix hardware and software repairs on desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Manage tickets and workload in the customer ticketing system.
