Job summary

Acture Solutions Inc. is seeking a Level I Helpdesk Technician to join our on-site support team in Riverhead, NY.

The role is full-time and requires servicing teachers, staff and administrators, delivering first-line IT support in-person or via the helpdesk system. You will install and support desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and printers, manage Windows clients and domains, and assist with imaging, deployment, and basic network issues.

Qualifications

• 1 year of desktop/application support or relevant technical support experience
• Knowledge of Windows domains and network services (DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)
• Experience with corporate antivirus and antispam solutions

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for desktop, software, and application issues
• Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads
• Install, configure, and support printers and peripheral devices
• Manage Windows clients and Windows domain environments
• Diagnose issues in Windows domains, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other apps
• Troubleshoot and repair software application problems
• Assist with system imaging and deployment of new hardware/software
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (cabling, WiFi, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)
