Job summary

Everforth Apex in New Carlisle, IN is seeking a Technical Support Tech I to assist end users with hardware and software issues, log and track incidents, and help ensure timely resolutions.

You will respond by phone, email, or in person, follow established guidelines, and report to a supervisor while developing troubleshooting skills.

The role is onsite with opportunities for ongoing training and advancement in IT support.

Qualifications

• Education: An associate's degree in a related area may be required.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area is needed.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of commonly-used technical support concepts, practices, and procedures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users for various hardware and software issues.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems communicated through telephone, email, or in-person requests.
• Document all support activities, track issue progress, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
• Follow pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform job functions.
• Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.
