Job summary

Teknor Apex Company is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to deliver user support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and install/upgrade PCs. You will work onsite and remotely, coordinate with vendors, and participate in rotating 24x7 coverage.

You will assist with moves and provide basic training while ensuring data confidentiality. Ideal candidates have an associate degree (or BS in IT) and 2–3 years of PC experience, with knowledge of CCTV and telephone systems.

Qualifications

• Provide technical support to users and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install software for new PCs and upgrade existing systems.
• Maintain onsite and remote user support and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment daily.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to the user community onsite and remotely.
• Interact with vendors about equipment service and repair.
• Participate in rotational 24x7 help-desk support.
• Assist with intra-office moves and setup/disconnect of IT equipment.
• Provide basic systems training to new users.
