Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Break/Fix Technician in Jacksonville, FL to deliver IT service including IMAC, break/fix, and deskside support on-site at customer sites and campuses. You will coordinate with end-users to manage expectations, perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, upgrades, and basic deployments, while striving to meet SLAs and customer satisfaction.

This entry-level role provides hands-on IT hardware experience and a pathway into more advanced field services, with weekly pay

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in servicing and deploying computer equipment in a corporate environment.
• Background in IT hardware support and proven customer service skills.
• Proficiency with the Windows operating system and following technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT service delivery (IMAC, Break Fix, Desk side Support) according to established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with end-users to manage expectations and schedule service activities.
• Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and basic deployments and repairs on assets in campus and remote locations.
• Identify potential issues that could adversely impact the end-user experience and follow through on resolution steps.
• Strive to meet all service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction goals; escalate issues as needed.
