Job summary

Stefanini in Arlington, VA is seeking an entry-level Deskside Technician I to provide onsite IT support in a corporate environment. The role handles hardware and software issues, provisions new devices, and ensures seamless end-user operations.

Responsibilities include Windows, software and hardware support onsite, staging and deploying devices, configuring mobile and audiovisual equipment, and troubleshooting VPN/VDI connectivity.

Qualifications

• 1 year onsite or 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT environment
• Willing to embrace AI and IT health monitoring software to expedite resolution and enhance customer experience
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain composure while handling challenging, rapid-response support
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365 suite
• End User Workspace platforms (discovery, asset management, client management)
• End User Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, Office, SCCM)
• ITSM Tool Set (Ticket Management Software) preferred
• Ability to walk, bend, stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical presence at client or Stefanini location during shift
• Maintain neat and professional work area and appearance
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
• Adhere to assigned shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide Windows, software, and hardware support onsite in a corporate environment
• Stage, provision, and deploy IT machines to end users
• Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy mobile devices and other AV equipment
• Troubleshoot VPN and VDI connectivity
• Software, patches and updates installation using corporate distribution tools
• Follow appropriate KB articles and Best Business Practices
• Manage workload via ticketing software
• Prioritize and complete work in a group and independently with minimal supervision
• Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Smart Hands remote support for offsite resolver groups
• Inventory management of IT assets including asset auditing
• Other duties as assigned
