Job summary

ESP Global Services is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a 2-month contract at Erlanger, KY. The role supports Windows PCs, Macs, printers, and mobile devices, with tasks spanning from account provisioning to troubleshooting and hardware upgrades.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing on-site, remote, and email support while managing tickets and inventory, and ensuring SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience providing Helpdesk/Desktop Support or Field Services.
• Experience with current Microsoft Windows Desktop software.
• Experience supporting DSS, multiple workstation OS (Windows, Mac) and mobile OS (Android, iOS).
• Experience fulfilling onboarding/offboarding (desktop/laptop setup, IPad, ports, software).
• Experience in supporting performance and resolving client-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, phone, remote, and email support to users.
• Keep the ticketing system up to date with status of requests.
• Maintain inventory system with deployed computing assets.
• Research, recommend, and order software/hardware as requested.
• Create and provision user/email accounts and access.
• Provide support to end users in problem resolution for Windows and Mac.
• Guide end users through troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform hardware/software upgrades.
• Support printing and peripheral devices.
• Set up, install, and configure desktop hardware/software per policies.
• Participate in identity and access management of systems.
• Handle other IT support duties as assigned.
• This is a 40-hour week with possible 5x8 onsite coverage.
