Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This contract-based, on-demand role covers desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripherals at client sites in Kentucky.

Immediate start and absence of guaranteed hours characterize the engagement. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows desktops, configuring hardware, and ensuring compliance with client IT policies.

Qualifications

Proven ability to troubleshoot Windows desktops and peripherals.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
Basic understanding of LAN, switches, and routers.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
