Job summary

Solution Partners, Inc. is seeking a hands-on On-site IT Support Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City. You will work at client locations providing tier II end-user device support and help keep warehouse systems running.

This role requires strong customer service, experience with SCCM, Windows 10, and networking basics. You will engage with warehouse staff on the floor and collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in computer operations, or desktop support.
• CompTIA A+ Certification, MCSE, or other IT Certifications.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10, Office365, Teams and SCCM.
• Experience with Inventory / Asset Tracking software.
• Ability to follow written IT policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to unboxing and disposal of OEM packaging.
• Routine transporting of items up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with our Warehouse Operations team by spending time on the warehouse floor to learn their workflows so we can better assist them with technical issues.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and remediation of a wide variety of complex technical issues ranging from RF scanners, SAP lockouts, network connectivity, and warehouse equipment issues.
• Prioritize tickets to ensure our local and remote end users receive updates and resolutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate and provide technical support across cross functional IT teams to solve high impact incidents with a sense of urgency by providing on-site eyes and hands support.
• Resolve complex technical problems using standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership by employing a strong work ethic to solve complex problems from start to finish.
• Perform research independently by asking clarifying questions, gather relevant data, and resolve the manner using a data driven approach.
