Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an in-office IT Support professional in Salt Lake City to provide Tier 1–2 helpdesk support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and onsite technology assistance. The role includes an on-call rotation and travel to regional offices as needed.

Must be legally authorized to work in the US. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of corporate IT support experience, strong customer service skills, and ITIL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Systems, Networking, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT support in a corporate/enterprise environment.
• Industry certifications (Microsoft or equivalent) are an asset.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with Help Desk to manage ticket ownership, escalation, and resolution.
• Prioritize requests while meeting SLA targets and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Deliver in-person support for local offices and site technology needs.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, telephony, mobile devices, AV, and peripherals.
• Follow ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, and request processes.
• Monitor queues, identify trends, participate in major incidents and root cause analysis.
• Maintain ticket documentation, inventory records, and asset assignments.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and self-service knowledge base.
• Assist with evaluation, deployment, and support of end-user hardware/software.
• Participate in an on-call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
