Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an IT Support professional in Opelika, AL for a contract-to-hire role providing a mix of Level 1 and 2 end-user support. Qualifications

• Desktop and end-user technical support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and OS.
• Experience with user accounts, permissions, and access management.
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Comfort working with employees at all levels, including leadership.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot password, account access, and permission issues.
• Support desktops, laptops, printers, and networked devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
• Manage and resolve support tickets with strong customer service.
• Escalate complex issues when needed and follow through to resolution.
• Assist with small IT projects and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders for effective support.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with technologies.
• Provide on-site technical support across IT needs.
