Job summary

TEKsystems in Tell City, IN is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team on a contract basis. You will provide hands‑on technical support to employees across the organization, maintaining computer systems, software, network connectivity, and equipment.

You will troubleshoot issues, assist with Office applications, manage user access, and collaborate with the IT Manager and external vendors on technology projects across ATTC locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Set up workstations, monitors, printers, scanners, and other technology equipment.
• Provide technical support to end users in person, by phone, and through remote support tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, email, and network connectivity issues.
• Assist employees with Microsoft Office and other business applications.
• Create and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Assist with antivirus, endpoint protection, and software updates.
• Coordinate with the IT Manager and external vendors on technology projects.
