Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an on-site IT support specialist in Findlay, OH to provide end-user workstation support on BLAN environments. You will translate business requirements into solutions, collaborate across teams, and champion asset management and security initiatives.

The role features Monday–Friday 8–5 hours with potential changes for business needs. Expect strong customer service, Windows/Office 365 expertise, and VIP user interaction.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years working with and supporting end users and VIPs.
• 5+ years working with third party service suppliers with SLA scope.
• Experience supporting remote and travel users.
• Strong communication with management for decision making.
• Collaboration with network operations and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service in all situations, even under pressure.
• Escalate tickets with detailed notes to internal teams or vendors.
• Resolve hardware and software problems with minimal user disruption.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop images.
• Onsite hours are typically Mon-Fri 8-5, with flexibility as needed.
• Collaborate to ensure asset tracking inputs align with business processes.
• Enforce IT Asset Management policies and maintain knowledge base.
• Maintain high standards of performance and accountability.
