Job summary

iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking an Associate IT Support Engineer to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. This is a 100% onsite, long-term contract role with W2 placement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience, strong Windows/macOS troubleshooting, and solid networking fundamentals. You will manage O365 / Google Workspace, cloud SaaS provisioning, and on-site AV support, ensuring responsive service for staff.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Systems Administration.
• Proficiency with troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Solid understanding of foundational networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN configuration).
• Experience managing cloud-based office suites (O365 or Google Workspace).
• Experience with SaaS application administration, including user provisioning, access management, permissions, configuration, and day-to-day application support.
• Ability to coordinate support for meeting room and AV support, when appropriate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support users, explain technical concepts clearly, and provide professional, responsive customer service.
• Bilingual in Chinese/Mandarin is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily IT & Network Operations: maintain and troubleshoot office network infrastructure for stable connectivity.
• On-site user support (L1/L2), resolve hardware/software and system access issues promptly.
• Asset management & vendor coordination: inventory IT assets and coordinate with vendors.
• Data backup & basic security: monitor backups and enforce endpoint protection and patch management.
