Job summary

Kentro is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to deliver onsite and remote support for VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring across the United States, with Dayton, OH as a primary location.

The role requires handling routine system administration tasks, debugging, and customer interactions to diagnose and resolve issues quickly, while adhering to VA and Kentro policies. Some travel and surge support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of IT Technical Support, Help Desk, or System Administration.
• Able to meet physical requirements listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment for VA-related support.
• Provide remote and desk-side IT support; respond to tickets and diagnose hardware/software issues.
• Create and manage user accounts; assist with AD and network services; compile reports.
