Job summary

Kentro is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring across the United States. Location: Manchester, NH onsite at the Manchester VA Medical Center. The role involves installation, maintenance, and remote/desk-side IT support for a large government contract.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a technical field or 8 years of equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in IT support. Travel may be required during surge periods; pre-paid travel expenses apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of related experience as substitute.
• 2+ years of IT technical support or sysadmin experience.
• Must meet physical requirements listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment.
• Provide remote and desk-side IT support and handle tickets.
• Set up and maintain user accounts; work with AD and network services.
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and propose corrective actions for approved changes.
• Assist with equipment returns, deployments, inventory, and verification.
• Safely handle equipment up to 50 lbs and move around work areas.
