Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking a versatile IT Support Technician to maintain local IT infrastructure across U.S. sites. You will provide on-site support, install and configure endpoint devices, and ensure smooth daily IT operations with a service-oriented mindset.

Fluent German and English are required, and you must be willing to travel between sites. A criminal record extract not older than 3 months is required. Company-sponsored events and competitive salary are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of IT hardware and standard client devices.
• Basic knowledge of standard software used in the workplace environment.
• Interest in information technology and technical problem-solving.
• Service-oriented and structured way of working.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to travel between assigned sites.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken) communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a stable local IT infrastructure with support from the Competence Center.
• Deliver high-quality, friendly, and professional on-site support.
• Ensure smooth daily IT operations at the assigned locations.
• Support users with local workplace hardware and site-related IT activities.
• Work on assigned ITSM tasks and incidents.
• Install, configure, replace, and maintain endpoint hardware and standard client devices.
• Deliver, relocate, and set up IT workplaces and endpoint devices.
• Provide on-site support for hardware-related workplace issues, such as notebooks, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers, peripherals, and meeting room equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for local IT issues and coordinate escalation to the Service Desk or responsible specialist teams when required.
• Support local rollouts, device exchanges, and hardware refresh activities.
• Visit all assigned sites regularly.
• Maintain local IT documentation and coordinate local operational topics with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
